Epilogue

The Montalvos watched four of their children burn to death. Then they allowed a stranger into what was left of their lives with a camera and a tape recorder. The experience has had a profound impact on my life. After failing to set up a tax-free Foundation for Mark, I realized that the only way I could ever thank them was by sharing their story with as many people as possible. It is my hope that these images will persuade some people to not drive drunk.
